Is HireUG free for job seekers?
Yes — completely free. Creating a profile, searching, applying for jobs, and tracking applications costs you nothing. We make money from employers, not from candidates.
How long does it take to hear back after applying?
Response times vary by employer. Most verified employers on our platform respond within 5 business days. You'll receive email and in-app notifications the moment an employer updates your application status.
How do you verify employers and listings?
Every employer goes through a manual verification process before their listings go live. We check business registration, contact details, and review their history on the platform.
Can I use HireUG if I'm outside Uganda?
Absolutely. We list both local and remote-friendly roles. Job seekers from the diaspora or neighbouring countries can apply to roles that accept remote applicants.

Please report it immediately using the Report this listing button on the job detail page, or email us directly. We investigate every report within 2 business hours.
